If I could rate 2H Re-screening a zero I would. The owner Felipe gave me a quote to replace all the screen in my pool enclosure and screen door hardware. A separate amount was given to replace all screws/fasteners.Our agreement was $885.12 deposit to be paid to begin work. I paid with a credit card. A verbal agreement was made that after the work was completed, I would inspect the job to prior to him charging the balance on my credit card. He charged my card right away without my permission.The screen he used is defective, only a few of the screws were replaced, the new door hardware is scratched and gouged, one door would not lock. Some of the screws were painted (paint was dripped on my pool deck). Felipe denied all of this even though I have photos for proof.Felipe told me he would replace all of the panels that were defective. After such shoddy work, I didn’t trust him to try to rectify the situation. We tried negotiating, set up meetings and he no showed 3 times.My credit card company returned the deposit to cover to cost of not replacing the screws, but said because he replaced the screen, defective or not, I would have to try to recover my loss through legal channels.Felipe refused to replace the defective screen (it is under warranty) unless I paid him for the screws that he never replaced.Update: I just want to address the rebuttal the owner (Felepe) made. I will not post to this review again. PLEASE research your contractors. I found this one on the BBB website (not accredited by BBB but listed with a rating). I thought I could trust this recommendation. Be sure they are accredited. People can load their reviews with friends and family reviews to make them look legit.Anyway... There is no truth to most of what he is claiming. If he showed up to do the work, it would have been completed. The atrocious job he did would have been corrected. He says the screen is not defective. PLEASE go out and look at your screens at various times during the day and see if you see large white stripes across them. You can clearly see screen in the background of several pics. How can he say they are not part of the "structure of the pool cage"? He is flat out lying about everything including the refund he says I received on my credit card. He says I saved my credit card info online so it could be charged "when service was ready". When we agreed on services and a price, he charged my credit card on the Jobber app. What does the last statement mean "still wanted more money and we arranged to satisfy you." HE CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD $1000.00 7 MONTHS LATER because I would not take down my HONEST review.As is said, I will not respond to him again. PLEASE, PLEASE be careful who you hire.**** Remember: Rusty screws, streaked screens, brand new hardware that looks years old (scratches, gouges), camera purchases and MONTHS of stress, worry and safety concerns.It's all in the PICs. THEY don't lie !!!!
